Silver in Destiny Sphere

Instead of an epigraph:

"I come to Dada and say:

- Dada, you know that people know little about silver? We need to find a smart person and write something patriotic. So that everyone, including me, understands what this in-game money is!

Dada turned to Enzo and said:

- Maxim! Good idea! We need to write it!

Enzo turned to me and said:

- Lucas, write something about silver!

That's how it all started!..."

Lukast

What is "silver" and how to deal with it?

Do you know what's most offensive? To play, lose sleep at night, prepare to meet enemy armies, spend a lot of personal time on the game, and then once not make it to the computer on time... And that's it! Game over... Of the armies you built and bought throughout the game period, only a bunch of shabby units remained, which were apparently spared only out of pity. The Vaults are empty, and from the countless reserves for a "prosperous old age" only memories remain.

In short - everything burned down, everything is lost!

You sit like a fool in front of the computer and don't know - whether you are dreaming or if it's all real. And you think - should I start all over again, or quit for good!

First of all - you need to calm down, have a smoke, and drink some tea, or better yet, something stronger.

And then realize that this is just a possible scenario and nothing bad has happened to us yet. Armies are successfully defeating enemies, vacuum cleaners are collecting fresh tribute, and the "Motherland's granaries" are filled with all sorts of necessary resources.

The situation of losing game property due to unsuccessful combat operations is quite common.

"Destiny Sphere" is still a war game, not a cross-stitch club. The principle here is - it's either you, or you get it!

Every wise player thinks in advance that fortune may not always smile on them and someday will turn its back on them completely negatively.

As a kind of abstract game currency, some have chosen to invest in artifacts. Very reasonable, but very risky!

Hyperactive Admins sometimes generously sprinkle worlds with all sorts of artifacts, causing the market to usually crash in an attempt to digest the gifts. And the further in the game and the older the game world, the more artifacts accumulate.

And the Admins have gone completely crazy and are aiming for the most sacred thing - artifacts. They say, we have brought you good news! Now artifacts will have a lifespan! We've arrived!

Thank you, comrade Admins, we are very happy to have you! If it weren't for your help, playing would be much calmer!

It's good that this initiative will only affect young and experimental worlds. Although with our Senates, you won't get bored... amateur thrill-seekers! They'll pass more laws about artifacts and it will be fun for everyone!

And where should a poor player go? How to protect themselves from arbitrariness?

And here, a ray of light in Dada's kingdom shines with a brilliant idea: we need in-game currency!

One can argue at length and persistently that money in the game is evil! Who argues? We are all far from the ideals of kindness and justice. And we have already crushed the kindest ones with a steamroller as soon as they opened the central gates.

Preachers of equality and communists who believe that everything is common to us can stop reading here.

But for a normal player, who knows what is good for them personally and what is not, without public prompts, there will be a lot of useful information below.

For me personally, in-game money is not a means to profit from the game (and who will give it to me?), but an opportunity to make a normal nest egg for a rainy day. No one knows when you'll get into trouble in the game, and with some reserve, it's much easier to get out.

Where does the money come from?

Remember the joke:

- Where do you get money from?

- From the nightstand...

- And who puts it in the nightstand?

- Me.

- No, where do YOU get money from?

- From the nightstand...

- So who puts it in the nightstand?

- Me.

- Damn, so where does your money come from?

- I take it from the nightstand...

And so on.

If you're bored or have nothing to do, you can repeat it. They say that after about ten minutes of repetition, it gets really intense...

But back to the money...

It's no secret that people with different levels of game involvement play the game... (Nice phrase, huh?) In plain English: some play Destiny Sphere twice a week for half an hour, while others sleep by their computer, not straying far from their comb. I don't think it would be fair to equalize them in anything. And it would be even more unfair to decide for such people what and how they should do. Their armies, resources, and artifacts are their property. Someone doesn't mind exchanging part of their game time, expressed in game property, for something useful in the game for themselves.

And why not? It's their right. Moreover, no one will force them to do it.

And here, in-game currency comes to our aid.

There are two types: gold and silver coins.

Sometimes I think that some of our developers are hidden aliens. Their logic is so strange that it feels like their mothers didn't tell them the right fairy tales in childhood... if some of them even had mothers...

If something can be complicated, then don't worry! It will be brought to an absurd absolute!

Why do we need gold? Correct! To exchange it for silver! Why can't we sell batches of silver coins directly through billing, bypassing gold? Again, correct... we'll sigh and remember the aliens...

So, let's move on to visual aids!

To understand how silver credits enter the game, you first need to log into your account.

Here everything is familiar, everything is dear to us!

But we need to go deeper, let's go where the average player's mouse rarely clicks. Let's go to the game Cabinet, for which we need to enter our game Nickname and Password again. Didn't I tell you that our Admins are abnormally overcautious? No? Well, now you've heard it!

And here it is!
Cabinet!
Of course - you won't see pictures, a fireplace, or a shelf with books. Just like there's no comfortable chair and a bottle of something tasty...
But since the developers called THIS a cabinet, we'll stick to the general version. Moreover, we didn't come here to admire, but for an important matter - we need to buy credits!

Using my Cabinet as an example, you can see the traces of my youthful gaming recklessness, expressed in 3000 silver credits in the Wolf's account and 3 gold coins in the general account. Well, at least that's left... Not enough!

Well, what can I do?... Salary dada doesn't pay, there's nothing to eat, how could I think about buying gold coins then?

But now I will correct this omission! We'll take the last of our savings from the piggy bank (what won't you do for you?) and try to buy game currency. And at the same time, I'll show you how it's done.

A quick look around and we see the button we're interested in "Buy Game Currency".

Clicked.

We get the following: Hello, Billing!

I've already mentioned the maniacal passion for overcaution in some... We enter our password and nickname again, but this time in Billing.

(A thought just occurred to me... What if we also introduce password and nickname entry for every game action on the comb! That would be hilarious! And most importantly!... Letters with requests "I forgot my password for the comb!.." will go down in history.)

Alright. Enough joking. Let's get back to Billing...

We fill in our nickname and password for the third time and get to the showcase of products offered for purchase by "Destiny Sphere". Click "In-game currency".

And finally, the purchase menu appears before us:

Click "Buy" and we get to the next page:

A pleasant surprise was that coins can be bought not only for yourself! Finally, you can give something to someone without bothering to search for the right gift on the local market of artifacts or units and without racking your brain - how to transfer it from one sphere to another?

It's easier this way - give coins, and let the person figure out what to spend them on! Like - "Happy Birthday, dear friend!"

Another convenience is the variety of payment options. Well, at least here the admins didn't fail.

We choose the number of gold coins, the currency in which we will pay, and the type of transfer.

Click and proceed depending on who, how, and with what you paid.

Let's assume everything went successfully, and we bought 20 gold coins in my example.

Once again, let's remember our favorite little green men, who for some reason think that everything is very practical and convenient. Uh-huh... Especially if we have to return to the cabinet from Billing again. Well, we're not proud, we'll repeat the login and password entry procedure. And if we were very lucky and the transferred money was immediately credited, then changes await us in the Cabinet:

Firstly: we see that the 20 gold coins I ordered have been added.

Secondly: there is a record of this in the cabinet.

So where is the silver? - You ask... And I will answer: it's time to learn the Aldebaran dialect of Klingon, because soon, besides our currency, we will also have our own game language! Not everything is as simple as we would like!

It wasn't enough to buy gold, now we need to exchange it.

Fortunately, the scheme here is a bit simpler and we won't need passwords and nicknames here... But don't rush to relax!!!

I will exchange 10 gold coins for silver using my example... I'll be rich! I'll buy a cow! Probably...

Did I ask you not to relax? Yes? Well, here it comes:

You can click "No" for fun, but then you'll have to start all over again.

Let's not show off and click "YES".

Hooray! We got silver!

And what do we see?

10 gold coins were successfully exchanged for 10 000 silver. I told you I'd be rich!

Another entry appeared about the exchange, and the account balance changed.

And now I'm going to send all this silver beauty to Lupus Sphere, where at the moment it's possible to buy something in the game with this money.

Did I already say that Aldebaran rules? Then I won't repeat myself...

Yes! Yes! I want it! I want it!!!

That's it, finally!

A lot of entries and notifications again, but the desired 10 000 silver coins were transferred after all the manipulations to Lupus Sphere. The total amount is 13 000 silver coins, and I'm sure I'll buy half the sphere now! Let's go shopping!

We click the "Exit" button and make sure that nothing human is alien to the developers. We end up... on the world selection page! Tricky... Managed to surprise!

Quickly select Lupus Sphere and go to our native comb.
